July 19, 2007 journal, the American flag no longer stands for freedom but many still wave it. I never thought in my life that I would feel offended and threatened by American flags. Everyday we see American troops breaking down doors in Iraq and the endless shelling of innocent homes where people live and die. They have moved the goal posts now for the General to report progress to Congress from September to November buying a month at a time in studying and sacrificing both our soldiers & civilians in Iraq. Let there be peace. This country does not know who their friends or the enemies are dependent on the dollar. Give Iraq to Iraqis by dividing it up 3 ways so each section can have its own government. The mayor is in hiding after making a conflict about a low-cost housing project in the city. They want us to drink the tap water and I would if they would take out all the chemicals. The Today Show today had a tap water tasting contest and Columbia South Carolina got number-one. New York City got No. 3 which does not surprise me but they did not test for chemicals. Basically, cities all put poison in the water including chlorine and flouride. Only expensive filtering like reverse osmosis treatment will take all of those chemicals out. Fires in old mills continue to happen as though on purpose and murder is raging more than ever now. Crime is a daily thing in almost every community. Telephone fraud worsening. People are becoming more desperate and politically people are becoming tired of the war. There are more abandoned buildings in town which is a sign of a deteriorating economy. Until everyone lives then no one lives. This cannot be in a secret society where a few live. The prayers of one man could save this nation if there is a man of Biblical understanding.
